I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue that has just escalated to me. One of the developers advised me that he hasn't been able to connect to his local development instance for "quite a while now", but it may have been around the time SP3 was applied. He has been RDP'ing to a separate server then connecting back to his local instance as a workaround. Connecting to the instance remotely works as expected without any issues, but whenever he tries connecting locally he gets the following error,
A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe.)(Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 233)
His current installed version is SQL Server 2012 SP3 CU5 (build 11.00.6544). Re-applying SP3 CU5 doesn't change the error, Named Pipes is enabled, TCP/IP is the first protocol, Mixed Mode Authentication is enabled, etc..., etc...
On our production servers, we're only on SQL Server 2012 SP2 CU9 (build 11.00.5641). So I was planning on rolling back to that version and rolling forward through CUs from there checking connectivity as I go.
However, it appears the links on the KB articles for CU10 and above only link to a download page for the latest CU.

Is there any way that I can get to the SP2 CU downloads between 9 and 14?
